Glengarriff Sportsfield Association is holding a cake sale on this Sunday, 3rd June after 11.30am mass in the hall. Please by coming along to buy cakes etc.

Community Outreach program – The aim of this programme is to make sure that elderly people, or people living on their own or isolated get this information through a trusted source, a local person, and this person assists them in changing to digital television. I’m sure you realise how vital a television is to someone on their own, so it’s doubly vital we get this information out and to as many as possible.

Did you know that over one in three family Carers are male! West Cork Carers Support Group is exploring ways in which they can better support male Family Carers in West Cork. Over the next two weeks they will be conducting an anonymous survey asking for comments/views on their current services as well as supports/events that could help men in their caring role.The group would appreciate input from any men involved in caring for a loved one whether an adult or child.
