Announcements:

A Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help will begin in our parish on 30th Oct 2010, and will continue for 9 days. There will be a different priest each night and 2 masses each evening, one in Glengarriff and one in Bonane.

 As everyone must know by now, Glengarriff are Munster finalists in the Kellogg’s Field of Dreams competition. As part of this RTE are coming to Pairc Garbh on Monday 6th Sept. at 3.00pm, to record a T.V. commercial. For the purpose of the commercial we need as many children/people at Pairc Garbh as possible on the day with flags, banners, etc. This is a great opportunity for Glengarriff and we need to let the nation see Glengarriff supporting ‘Field of Dreams’. Please keep texting 53799 with the words ‘Kelloggs Munster’.

If there is anyone inhterested in going on a trip to see the ‘Shrines of France’, 25th April to 2nd May 2011, call 064 6632911. Its an amazing trip, featuring all the beautiful shrines, Lourdes, Nevers, including mass in St Gildards beside the body of St. Bernadette. visit to Paris, Lisieux, Les Buisonnettes – home of St. Theresa and also a visit to the shrine of St. Vincent de Paul.

 The bingo in the Caha Centre will be resuming on Tues, Sept 7th at 8.30. And bingo continues in Glengarriff Hall as usual after Sat. night mass.
