Announcements:
The dates for the Confirmation have been announced. It will be in Glengarriff on Tuesday, 15th Feb., at 3.30pm for both 5th and 6th classes.
‘I love the Old Testament but I don’t really understand it’ For those that have never had the opportunity to explore the wonder and majesty of scripture the Autumn course in Cork city is one not to be missed. The course starts on Thurs. 23rd Sept at 7.00pm at the Presentation Brothers, Markdyke House, Cork.
Public Lecture Series (PLS) Limerick: The lecture series this autumn will provide stimulating material for those that are trying to keep ahead of changes in the multi-faith landscape in Ireland. The course starts on Wed., 22nd Sept, at 7.00pm in Mary Immaculate College.
Kellogg’s Field of Dreams. We would like to thank you all most sincerely for coming to Pairc Garbh on Monday last for the filming of a TV commercial for the ‘Field of Dreams’ competition. It was great to see so many out supporting this for our children. This is a great opportunity for Glengarriff. The commercial is due to be shown tonight at approx. 10.15pm during the ad break of the Late Late Show. The commercial will be shown at regular intervals until the end of the competition. Please continue to vote Kelloggs Munster to 53799! There will be a meeting on Tuesday, 14th Sept at 9.00 at the Park Hotel, we need help, come and support your community field!
