Announcements:

Glengarriff Theatre Group are sponsoring a play called “A night in November” which will be performed in the Parochial Hall on Friday August 27 at 8.30pm. Tickets are 10 euro at the door and is restricted to over 16′s only.

 Garinish 100. National Heritage Week.  Sunday 22nd August 2:30 p.m. Glengarriff Woods Nature Reserve. Guided Nature Walk Meet at the Main Car Park in the Nature Reserve. Tuesday 24th August 8:30 p.m. Jazz on a Summer’s Evening Glengarriff Park Hotel. (Re-scheduled from Thurs, 19th August)   28th August The Bamboo Park and the Ewe Scupture Gallery are admitting two for the price of one.

 The Glengarriff hall committee would like to thank everyone who supported their fun day in anyway .

Recent deaths:  Your prayers are asked at this sad time for Richard Harman, who was buried on Friday and for his two friends, Mike Schmidt & Wolfgang Schroder. The funeral arrangements for Mike and Wolfgang are as follows, reposing at Glengarriff church from 5.00pm to 7.00pm on Sunday, 22nd Aug., funeral service on Mon.  at 12.00am. Please remember  their friend Ed Dziato in your prayers, that he may make a speedy recovery.
