Garinish 100 Gardens Competition

In conjunction with the Garinish 100 celebrations Glengarriff Tourism and Development Association are running a competition for private gardens.  There will be a number of prizes including the overall Barrys Tea Perpetual trophy which will be presented to the owners of the best presented garden.  Entries are invited and can be made in a number of ways. Pick up an entry form locally, contact the Association via this website, drop a line to the sec. GTDA or contact any member of the Garinish 100 organizers – Markus Baeuchle, Andrew O’Shea, Jim Larner, Brian Boyd, Colm McCarthy, Mary T O’Shea and Kurt Lyndorff.  Judging will take place in the second half of June so entries are invited prior to June 13th.

  1. Kellog’s Field of Dreams Competition. We need to collect 500 tokens from the ‘Field of Dreams’ Kellog’s boxes to be in with a chance to win this competition with first prize €100,000 of a make-over for Pairc Garbh!! If anyone would like to sponsor money towards purchasing the cornflakes, getting the token from the box to help our token collection and we will donate the cornflakes to the Simon Community, please contact Joanna McCarthy Ambassador for ‘Field of Dreams’ Competition.
