G.A.A. plays finals in June
The under-16 footballers had the honour of being the first club team in competitive action this season when they hosted Dripsey in the inter divisional league. The competition, which
involves teams from Carbery, Muskerry and Beara gives clubs the opportunity for extra
games against teams from different divisions and on this occasion it was the Glen who
were victorious. A hat trick of goals from Conor Galvin along with like scores from Daniel
Hartigan and Gearoid O’Sullivan was the difference between the teams, but the home side’s
ability to kick points was also a notable feature of the game. Team. Daniel Murphy, John
