Bantry Bay Lions Club Community Awards

The Bantry Bay Lions Club is delighted to announce details of their inaugural Community Awards Night. All too often, the outstanding work being done on a voluntary basis by members of our community goes unnoticed. The Lions Club wants to change that, and to recognise and honour the people who make our community a better place within which to live. The Lions Club want to acknowledge the positives within our community, and to highlight the caring nature of people, and in doing so, we can all see what good work is being done in our midst. This is the first year of the Bantry Bay Lions Club Community Awards, and they are seeking the support of the public in order to make it a success.

Nominations are invited from any member of the public, and the nomination can be for an individual, group, or young person. The criteria are that by the nature of their efforts, they have strived to make a contribution to Bantry, and enhanced the lives of others. Please feel free to nominate someone that you know who deserves to be recognised. All nominees will be presented with a Certificate to reflect their nomination.

The Community Award winners will be decided by an independent judging panel.
