Connie Murphy presented a fascinating talk on Wed 15th on prehistoric life in Glengarriff. Most of us know so little about our local environs, I’m a blow in with just 24 years of living here! I heard some people born and bred here who never knew of such sites. We should all make an effort to get to know our local area before we head for the faraway hills around the globe! Hopefully some events will be planned so those who have the knowledge will be able to lead us to where some of these treasures are.
