Bamboo Park Glengarriff

The unique exotic garden in one of the most attractive areas of Ireland. Situated in the mild climate of Glengarriff in the south-west. Thirty different species of bamboo surrounded by palms and other tropical plants, amidst of romantic paths and breathtaking views.
Bamboo Park is easy to find: situated directly on the coastal road from Bantry to Kenmare N 71 in Glengarriff. Coming from Kenmare the entrance huge Japanese style-gate is at your right a few yards after passing the beautiful Glengarriff Harbour.
The Park is open all year from 9 am to 7 pm

Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with delicious home-made cakes on our sunny terrace or buy a souvenir in the shop. We also offer  plants for sale: bamboos, palms, tree-ferns.
Visitors have access to private beach with marvellous views to Garnish Island. If you’re lucky you might see one of the local inhabitants of the bay: one or even more  seals. For romantic picnics, you find many gazebos. Find out about the park’s history.
